Unfortunately these days we cannot expect everyone to be fair and just even when offering free online professional profile services as we do... so we must have the rules, guidelines, & legal stuff detailed here for
our protection as well as your understanding of visiting and/or using our website.

Visitors and registered profile users (referred to as "users") are expected to abide by the following rules to keep a safe professional environment for all. Violations of
the rules depending on circumstance can result in warning notification, content removal, profile removal, profile change freeze (i.e. suspension), blacklisting, and/or reporting of illegal situations
to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.

In keeping with the principles and intended use of the PointProfiles website, we reserve the right to take any action on profiles without notice to the affected registered profile user as necessary to enforce the "Terms of Use" and keep the intended purpose of the website. We however will never edit and/or add content to a profile during actions, only removal of problematic content with a note of such action in some cases where needed.

Rules:
- All communications and content including but not limited to feedback, profile information (names, location, descriptions, titles, etc...), external links, and images will not contain any elements, meanings, illustrations, or any other aspects that is considered disrespectful, racist, abusive, threatening, injurious, xenophobic, course language, profanity, explicit images, illegal in nature, or considered unprofessional by business standards.
- All content must be appropriate for all ages as this is a Internet public accessible website. This restriction means absolutely no content of any type will contain anything a child could not look at including but not limited to images, text, and links to external sites containing such material. Even if you are a x-rated movie director, this is not your place.
- External communications send to our email system intended for us or any of the profile users, or profile users sending emails must also abide by the same rules. Users Note: Since we provide an online profile space for you on our website and unofficially & indirectly represent you by doing so, we want to ensure our profile users community consists of professional individuals both within our site and outside.
- Uploaded files (images, PDF's, etc...) by profile users must be properly checked for malicious content using protection software (i.e. antivirus, antispyware, etc...) to ensure the safety of such files to be accessed by others. The profile user is responsible for any and all content posted regardless of situation.
- Attempts to hack, subvert, and/or bypass any part of the website functionality will result in immediate profile removal and possible reporting to law enforcement depending on situation.
- External linking to any part of the website is allowed but only when done so using a full separate browser window (or tab) and containing the full HTML target page. Framed inclusion of any part of the website is not allowed for any reason.
- Profile pictures are required to contain actual image of the registered user and may not include: non-photo images, copyright protected images, cartoons, distorted pictures/images, pictures containing backgrounds that violate all other listed rules, picture of someone else, other individuals visible within the same picture.
- Profiles may not contain any information that is sensitive, confidential, or proprietary to specific individuals or businesses. Some examples of such information would be: detailed internal infrastructure about a business, private contact information, account information, social security numbers, email addresses, detailed customer data, unlisted/private phone numbers, credit card information, any bank related account information, passwords, encryption keys.
- Copyrighted material may never be used anywhere on the site useless you are the owner of such content.
